Episode 12: “June 13th, Part 1”

November 1, 2015

Are you ready for some lengthy discussions about Time Travel?¬†This week’s episode of Heroes Reborn was as exciting as it was at times hard to follow, but we feel pretty sure that we’re picking up what Kring and Co. are putting down, and as Derek put so aptly last week: “It’s bonkers, but we love it.” This week we try to unpack what is happening and discuss far-reaching implications of the time-travel action that we are witnessing on the show.¬†Enjoy!

I’m drawing one more comparison to Star Wars. Anakin was supposed to bring balance to the force however it feels more like Luke did. Now Claire being anakin cant save the world unless she gives birth to the twins. So by saving the cheerleader you are saving the world just the future world. Just a passing thought. Love the show.

Why the confusion about Tommy/Malina being 15/16 years old BEFORE HRG went back? The point is he had already gone back. It had already happened, we just didn’t know it until we got to the point in which he travels back to June 13th. Most of what happened in this 2 parter had already occurred to set up everything we saw in the first 5 or 6 episodes – aside from the obvious butterflies in part 2 (the Haitian being spared, HRG shooting Erica leading to Evil!Quentin).

You probably agreed with all of this later in the podcast anyway (or in the part 2 one) thus rendering my comment pointless! But I haven’t had a chance to listen to it all yet.

Anyway, keep it up, I love listening!
